MapleStory Classic World tools: everything MapleTrack does
MapleTrack is a free, fan-made companion for MapleStory Classic World (formerly CW Helper). It watches the game window you pick, reads the numbers and names on screen with text recognition that runs on your own PC, and turns them into an EXP tracker, training history, map and quest guides, and a set of calculators. Open MapleTrack in your browser to try it.
EXP tracker
MapleTrack reads your EXP from the game screen and shows EXP per hour for the last five minutes next to your session average. It estimates when you will level up, counts the EXP you gained, level-ups and deaths, and draws an efficiency trend so you can see when a spot starts to slow down.
Nothing counts until you press Start tracking. You can pause and resume a run, and Stop saves it to your history.
Training history
Every run is kept as a training session. History shows your daily EXP for the last 30 days, the maps you trained on and your past sessions, and you can export sessions as JSON or CSV. MapleTrack recognises your current map from the minimap, so "My training maps" keeps the EXP per hour you actually measured on each map, with your own notes.
Maps and catalog
The Maps tab lists every map in the catalog with its monsters, minimap spawn layout, size and monster density. Sort and filter by level, density or a monster you want to hunt. Each map compares an estimated EXP per hour with what you measured there, and "Route me here" shows the portal route from where you are.
The catalog search covers monsters, maps, NPCs, items, scrolls and equipment.
Quests
Scan your quest log and MapleTrack lists your quests, what is available at your level and job, and what you have completed. Each quest shows its requirements and rewards, why a locked quest is still locked, and the portal route to the next NPC.
Crafting planner
Search recipes by item or material, add what you want to make to a plan, and get the total materials, mesos and craft steps. The leveling view lists the crafts that reach a target crafting level, sorted by EXP or by mesos per EXP.
Boss timers
Keep respawn timers per channel for field bosses. Press Killed and MapleTrack shows when the boss may be up and when it should be up, and can announce it with voice alerts that use only the voices installed on your PC. The default respawn times are estimates, and you can edit them.
Scroll calculator
Enter the upgrade slots, the scroll (10, 30, 60, 70 or 100 percent), prices and how many passes you want. The calculator shows the distribution of successful passes, the odds that the item is destroyed, the expected stats and scrolls used, and the expected cost of getting one item that hits your target.
Character profiles and damage calculator
Scan the character stat window into profiles, keep several characters, and use the damage calculator with your own stats.
Optional tracking and alerts
These are off until you turn them on: mesos tracking, potion usage, an inventory check before and after a run, low HP and MP alerts, and buff reminders. Alerts can speak or beep.
Leaderboard and Party (optional, online)
The map EXP leaderboard ranks maps by the EXP per hour players measured, by level band and job. It is off by default and asks for your agreement before anything is sent. Opening the Party tab loads the current list of party posts, and posting your own is up to you. These are the only features that go online.
Mini window, stream overlay and recording
A small always-on-top window keeps your EXP per hour in view, and a stream overlay shows the same numbers for OBS window capture. The Windows desktop app can also record the game window to WebM video.
Privacy
MapleTrack only sees the one window or screen you choose, at most two frames a second, with no sound. It never reads game memory or game files and never presses keys. Text recognition runs on your PC and screen images are never sent anywhere. Your records stay on your PC, there is no account, and the website runs no analytics. The leaderboard and Party posting stay off until you turn them on.
Requirements
Works with the English game client. Use it in a desktop browser that supports screen sharing, such as Edge or Chrome. The app itself can be switched between English and Chinese.
